I painted this piece to hold onto that late-summer feeling when everything glows a bit warmer than it should. The lavender rows guided the whole composition for me, they create this natural path that pulls you forward without asking. 

The sky ended up almost dramatic on its own, full of golds and sudden streaks of colour, like the light can’t decide whether it wants to stay or slip away. I wanted the scene to feel open and alive, with the colours shifting just enough to keep your eye moving.
